Phawngpui peak or blue mountain 300 kms away is also a must visit spot for tourist. Among other places to visit are Reiek heritage model village and Dampa tiger reserve. Bung and Paikhai are famous picnicspots 15 kms from Aizawl. The city is worth a visit all year except monsoon season.
