Bikaner, is a city in the state of Rajasthan, east of the border with Pakistan in the middle of Thar Desert. The city is known for the 16th-century Junagarh Fort, a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls. Inside the fort, is the Prachina Museum that displays traditional textiles and royal portraits. Nearby, the Karni Mata Temple is home to many rats considered sacred by Hindu devotees. Bikaner is a “cultural paradise and a traveller’s haven” and is nown for magnificence in architecture, art and culture is filled with colour, festivity and cultural marvels.

Sand dunes and the desert safari are among the major attractions in Bikaner. The city is also famous for hosting the international Camel festival which draws tourists from the world over. Other attractions include experiencing delicacies such as Thandai, Bhujias, and other snacks. Tourist might be interested in shopping for fascinating Ivory and Lacquer items in Bikaner. On the 1st day of arrival the tourist can start tour by visiting the Junagarh Fort that will take up most of the day. On 4th day tourist can visit the Devi Kund in moring, followed by Gajner Place in afternoon and Gajner wildlife sanctuary in late afternoon. The city is a hub for birdwatchers with numerous places that are ideally suited for birdwatching and it will take 1 full day to cover all the birding areas if they tourist intend to visit them.
