Madhya Pradesh or MP, a state in India, retains landmarks from eras throughout Indian history. Begun in the 10th century, its Hindu and Jain temples at Khajuraho are renowned for their carvings of erotic scenes, most prominently Kandariya Mahadeva, a temple with more than 800 sculptures. The great Sanchi Stupa constructed during King Ashoka’s reign is situated here in Bhopal. Although open to tourist throughout the year best time to visit MP is from June to February. Wheat is the staple food of the state. Some famous vegetarian dishes include poha and jalebi, bhutte ki khees, and dal bafla. Popular non-vegetarian dishes include gosht korma, kebabs, and roghan josh.

Sweet dishes like mawa-bati, khoya jalebi, shrikhand, and chikki are also local favourites. Mawa bati is a unique sweet dish found only in Madhya Pradesh. Malwa Utsav is one of the biggest, largest and most spectacular events in Madhya Pradesh. Dance and music performances are the most integral part of the festival. Madhya Pradesh is a pleasant amalgamation of Hindus, Jains, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Sikhs. here is also a small Sikh population. Hindi language is the main and the official language of Madhya Pradesh.
