Nashik is an holy city in Maharashtra, India. The city finds mention in the epic poem “Ramayana” Godavari river originates from Brahmagiri mountain, Trimbakeshwar 2 hrs drive from Nashik. There is a temple complex, Panchavati, and near it is Ram Kund water tank, where Ram was thought to have bathed.
