Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra – A Beautifully Designed Mosque in Ajmer, Rajasthan

‘Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra’ or “shed of 2½ days” is a large and imposing mosque in Ajmer, Rajasthan. One of the oldest mosques in India, and the oldest surviving monument in the city of Ajmer, it was commissioned by Sultan Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak in 1192 AD and completed in 1199 AD.
